Walls of mirrors have often had strong connotations of either opulance (think Hall of Mirrors at Versailles) or outdatedness (think 70's closet doors), but when done right neither word applies. Mirrors are actually one of the greatest tools a designer has and canvasing an entire wall with them makes a truly bold statement. They can add the illusion of greater volume in a small space or add light to a dark room. And they can make an otherwise drab space seem very glamorous. I particularly like them being used in a monotone room. Here are a few examples of mirrors being used to their fullest potential. Architectural Digest
